Alumni Men's Chorus
Mission
The
Bowling Green State University Men's Chorus Alumni Society program
exists to provide a full spectrum of assistance and support of
the continuing success of the BGSU Men's Chorus and University
at large which, in turn, results in responsive programs, diverse
activities, services and enriched camaraderie for alumni.

I
Name
This
organization will be named the Bowling Green State University
Men's Chorus Alumni Society and will be refereed throughout this
constitution as BGSUMCAS.

II
Membership
All
persons who have participated in the BGSU Men's Chorus regardless
of having graduated from BGSU, attended BGSU at least one year
fully as an accredited student, all persons who have
received honorary degrees from BGSU and this shall include accompanists,
advisors, and directors.

III
Purpose
This
organization is formed to cooperate with the general Alumni Association
of Bowling Green State University in fostering a spirit of fraternity
and loyalty among the graduates and former students of BGSU and
particularly the success of the Bowling Green State University
Men's Chorus. Additionally, to encourage and coordinated activities
and concerts with the Alumni Men's Chorus for graduates and former
students in the welfare of the University and the BGSUMC. The
society will also promote, through cooperation with the general
Alumni Association closer fellowship among alumni, current students
and prospective students to BGSU

Organization
Section
A: Board of Trustees
1. The governing body of the BGSUMCAS will be a seven member Board
of Trustees consisting of a Chairman, Director of Alumni Chorus,
Secretary & Public Relations, Treasurer, Scholarship &
Recruitment, Event officer, Men's Chorus Representative.

C: Voting
1. Each board member will have no more than one vote, in the case
of a tie, if an abstentions occurs, Chairman will cast the tie
breaking vote.
2. By-Laws can be approved by a majority vote of the Board of
Directors.
3. By-Laws can be added or take away by the general assembly by
a majority vote of registered society members.

V
By-Laws
Such
by-laws may be adopted from time to time as shall be deemed advisable
by the society's Board of Directors. Any member may recommend
to the Board of Directors the creation and implementation of a
new by-law.
